Client Attention Span

Did you know that a person takes ± 3 seconds to decide if they're in the right place when he or she first lands on your website before clicking away?

First impressions count in our fast-moving digital world. So here's what you can do to prevent your ideal clients from disappearing back into the Google abyss.

You want to capture your ideal client's attention, and keep them reading so that they know they're in the right place and that you really understand their challenge.

To that, focus on the top section of your website: the bit that people see first (before they scroll down).

This section is known as 'above-the-fold' and I refer to it a lot when working with clients.

It is your website's PRIME PROPERTY, or we could say, ‘Prime Real Estate’.

At a glance, your site visitors need to know:

* Who you are
* What you offer
* Who it's for
* What information is on your website
* How your product/service will improve their lives
* What they need to do to work with you

Take a look at your website homepage. Are the answers to these questions clear and obvious? And can your ideal client answer these questions in 3 seconds flat?

Contact us here for a review of your website and it’s messaging.
